Sally the Silly Salamander
Likes walks on the beach,
Her second grade teach,
Ice cream the flavor of peach.
She sleeps real late,
At least past eight,
Or she gets irate
And she must abate.
The clouds are high,
Packed in the sky,
And Sally sighed,
As a plane flew by.
She loves to go,
Travel to snow,
Where the temp is low,
To take photos.
She wants to leave,
This summer’s eve,
So she can see,
The snow-covered trees.
But there’s just one thing,
It’s the end of spring,
The snow’s receding,
And she’s stuck in Beijing.
