Stars
Every day
Another star,
Gold,
Red,
Green,
Blue,
Too many.
One for good,
And one for great,
One for attendance,
But don’t be late.
The colors all
Mean something different,
How can I keep
Them straight.
I really wish,
Mrs. D would listen,
Just one color
For everything.
I know I could
Get more stars,
If only there
Were less colors.
