The Children of Wath
All need a bath,
Hate doing math,
But they’re real cute.
Their parents worry,
As they scurry,
They have to hurry,
To keep up with them.
Wath is big,
And full of pigs,
Who like to dig,
And root around.
The pigs and kids,
Play the game Squid,
Where they run and skid,
In the mud as they laugh.
And once they’re done,
They argue who’s won,
And lay in the sun,
To dry off.
And before bed,
When they’re well fed,
They start to dread,
What’s to come next.
It’s time to clean,
They start to scream,
And make a scene,
They hate bath time.
But once they’re in,
They start to grin,
They love clean skin,
But tomorrow will still be the same.
