The Dogs of the Moon
The dogs on the moon
All came there in June,
On a ship that was flown
By their dog captain Bone.
They came in the night,
Because their humans might fright,
If they saw all these hounds
Piling in off their grounds.
There were Labs that are black,
some Rhodesian Ridgebacks,
A Great Dane or two,
And at least one Cockapoo.
They all wanted to go
To see the great show,
Westminster but in space,
The best of breed in that place.
So they hopped on their ship,
And made their grand trip,
But there’s one thing that they fudged,
There are no humans to judge.
