Three Hippos and the Field Mouse
Hippos love reggae,
And hippos love pop.
Hippos love R&B,
But most of all rock.
Field mice are tricky,
They like some weird stuff,
Electronic, and dub step,
And most of all punk.
So who would’ve thought,
When forming a band,
Three hippos gathered
There field mouse friend Stan.
The hippos wanted to be
A band that plays strong,
But Stan felt like that
Just felt a little wrong.
“Let’s play something
Different and funky?”
But the hippos didn’t want
To sound like some Monkey’s.
So they thought,
And the played,
And in the sun
They all laid.
Rock wasn’t right,
R&B wasn’t it,
Rap felt it wrong,
Dub Step didn’t fit.
There was something that
They hadn’t thought of yet,
But it wasn’t normal,
It was going to be quite a bet.
But the Hippos
And Field Mouse
Have made up their mind,
They’re going to
Try country,
And they’ll be one of a kind.
